Can a Yellow CGC slab be Submitted and Pressed by CCS and retain Yellow Label?

I had a Blue Label 9.8 Something is Killing the Children #1 get cracked at signed at a CGC Certified signing (not in-house). It came back a Yellow 9.0. There is a new crease on the back cover. I understand this happens, as horrible as it sounds. I have been told to submit it to CCS for a press and it will retain the Yellow Label. I do not see instructions on the CCS form to complete this. Any ideas? Thank you.

Good morning,

Thank you for your message.  Yes, if the book is currently in a CGC holder with a Signature Series label, you can submit that for pressing and regrading and it can retain the Signature Series label.  You just have to keep it in the holder and we will crack it out here on our end.  You will complete an online form just as you normally would and select both pressing and grading services for your book.

If you have any questions, you can reach us at 877-662-6642 or by email at submissions@cgccomics.com.

Thank you!
