Star Wars Celebration Anaheim (May 26-29, 2022)

Hi!

Starting a thread since this event will (safely) be here before we know it.

I’ve attended quite a few of these Celebrations before, but this will be the first time I’m planning to get a comic signed, particularly by Mark Hamill (pending confirmation of his attendance). I’ve read about there being a facilitator or witness available sometimes, and was wondering if any here on the forum planned on attending, and what the process usually entails-outside of me buying an autograph ticket and waiting in line.  Luckily I was able to snag a Jedi VIP pass and I think they’re generous in terms of line jumping for VIPs.

Appreciate the help, thanks!

Seems at the moment the only official CGC SS service for SWCA 2022 will be offered by Opix (https://officialpix.myshopify.com/products/giancarlo-esposito-2022-swc-cgc-signature-series-autograph-send-in)

it’s an off-site signing, so not in-person witnessing (I messaged them asking this very thing yesterday)

they will be charging the cost of the signing + $95

SWCA and Opix announced more guests today but no Mark Hamill yet

Yeah.  I’ve been following opix.  Really hoping Hamill surprises us with a signing. At this point, I’ll take mail-in over nothing!

Yeah he posted on Twitter he’s gonna be out of the country so he won’t be attending

Didn't Hamill announce he was no longer doing signings?  I'm not sure there's been a signing event of his since 2017.

The period to submit with Opix for SS has closed but if a certified witness for CGC is in the show they can still get yellow label… I asked a friend but he’s busy; anyone know of another CGC witness that will be attending SWCA? I don’t mind paying their fees as long as they witness for a few signatures I wanna get
