Ghost_Rider83
Hey all! I recently purchased Infinity War 3 graded by CGC. I have specific frames I’m using for my display wall but noticed this particular slab is too thick for the frame. Is it possible to get it re-slabbed with a thinner one? 18-22
theCapraAegagrus
The slab thickness is typically relative to the comic thickness. If it's an old slab, though, a re-holder may give you the results you're looking for. However, there are no guarantees in life...
Ghost_Rider83
Thanks for the reply! I kinda figured it was because of the size of the comics, but what do you mean by re-holder? Is that something CGC does?

Fill out paperwork for "REHOLDER" online. 3. Pack up your book carefully, mail it to Florida for somewhere between $10-$15. We'll say $10 for this calculation. 4. Pay for the Reholder. $20 fee, plus $5 invoice fee 5. Pay for return shipping. Best case scenario, $8 so for $40 minimum and lets say 6 months of your time door to door, you can get it reholdered plus the risk of loss or damage I'm not saying you shouldn't do it, but you should think it through. You’re awesome, thanks! actually after thinking about it even more... IF you can confirm a newer slab works, maybe you can just straight up arrange for a trade of your comic for someone with a newer slab. Even if you paid for both shipping, you probably still come out ahead and you get your comic in like a week instead of 6 months. IF you can find someone local, throw in $5 and gas money for the exchange. EASY PEASY.
