NW Godzilla Minus Color on Netflix. It looks fantastic!

:yeehaw:

Wouldn't mind a 4K double disc colour / monochrome set.

Just a heads-up for those interested:

Several online retailers have been putting up preorders for this on 4K UHD, Blu-ray and DVD.  There's also a 3-disc steelbook release that has the 4K, Blu-ray and a bonus content disc on Blu-ray.

I mention it because within a couple of hours this morning the steelbook preorder on Gruv sold out.  Apparently, they were only allocated 1,000 copies.

Walmart has it for preorder now for the same price as Gruv had it for (initially, Walmart had it for $55 but then dropped the price to $35)

I don't know how limited the steelbook release is, but considering how few Gruv received and how quickly they sold out, if that's something you're interested in you may want to lock in a preorder sooner rather than later.  Amazon has a listing for it but last time I checked the listing hadn't actually gone "live" yet.

Regarding the Minus Color version:

None of these preorder releases have the Minus Color version.  The press release for the 4-disc set (for which the preorder is now closed) indicated that that 4-disc set would be the only way to get the two version together.  However, the way the press release is worded seems to leave the door open for a stand-alone release of Minus Color at some point in the future.

The release information on these mentions dubbing, but because of the broken English translation, it's unclear if it applies to just the bonus disc (which was Japanese only in the 4-disc set), the feature film or both.  Hopefully that will be clarified soon as I know some really like having a dubbed option.

Just finished watching this on Netflix.  I'm sorry I didn't catch this in the theaters, it was an amazing movie and better than 90% of what Hollywood put out last year on a fraction of the budget.

Wow!

Really late to the game but agreed.  My in law made me watch this and I was surprised how much I enjoyed it.
