One thing you can't see is that most of the cover has a piece of archival tape on the inside spine. Would this get a "conserved" because of that or a PLOD? Februus Posted February 22, 2022 Share Posted February 22, 2022 2.0 good question I think you will get “tape on inside cover” I think I read tape is not considered restoration.. since it’s archival on a book of this grade … I don’t think it’s gonna matter. If it was high grade and that type of tape was used to repair something then yeah. Conserved or restored. The key for me is how much of the cover is detached?
