I tried searching around and couldn't find an answer to this question. I've never seen a graded one so I was just curious

I would guess the answer is yes but, I can't say for sure.  If you have some you would like to submit, let me know and I will ask the graders.  Here is a link to collectibles that are not encapsulated.

Here are 2 paragraphs that are relative.

There are several reasons why a collectible cannot be graded or encapsulated by Certified Guaranty Company® (CGC®). Some of the most common reasons involve authenticity, size and subject matter.

Collectibles that display extreme nudity on the front or back will not be certified. For example, if the cover image depicts explicit sexual acts, CGC will not grade it, and the item will be returned.

I do have a few and would be interested in submitting them. Thanks for the help!

I’m not trying to be funny here. I have no idea what a Tijuana Bible is other than a Bible printed in Spanish ( still not sure what any of that has to do with CGC (shrug) )

Actually, I had to look it up myself.  Wikopedia says: palm-sized pornographic comic books produced in the United States from the 1920s to the early 1960s

Lol well "bible" is just a word

Bible: any book, reference work, periodical, etc., accepted as authoritative, informative, or reliable

It's like tissues and Kleenex

I think CGC could grade a Tijuana Bible using their comic grading criteria, but I don't see how they could determine the approximate printing date and the overall authenticity of it. The depth of knowledge they have about comics took a great deal of time to build and scale up. I'm skeptical that it could be replicated on the fly with Tijuana Bibles.

They grade UGs don’t they? Tijuana Bibles have pretty tame covers. Question is, why would you want to grade them?   (shrug)

It would be neat to have it displayed with historical info.

I mean, who in their right mind would have thought grading "No. 1" was a good idea? Not that a TJ is of that much importance....but at least they're complete haha

I have seen some with pretty explicit covers so when I read Mike's post, I thought some could and some couldn't.  Just doing a google search and looking at the images shows a variety of tijuanas.
