I recently had Sam De Larosa sign my book and there was no cgc rep there to validate. If I take my book to one of his other signings and he validates the signature can I still get my yellow label?

Thank you for your message.  Unfortunately, not.  There is a strict chain of custody that must be followed for the Signature Series label.  If the original signature was not witnessed by an authorized witness, it would not be able to get a Signature Series label.  If you have him sign at a different event with witnesses, then the book will receive a qualified signature series label like this:
