Price increase of a comic since submitting

Hey,

If I submitted a comic and the value was under 400$ at the time of submitting, and while CGC has had this comic for the last 5 months, it has gone up in price over that $400 potentially,  will cgc charge me more now that it may be in a higher tier?

Good morning,

Thank you for your message. The value listed for the book should represent the current fair market value.  If the book's value has gone up substantially and the value is significantly greater than you listed on your form, it is possible our graders may bump the book up to a higher grading tier and you would be responsible for the difference in grading fees.  You can find out more regarding our Declared Value Policy here: Declared Value Policy | CGC (cgccomics.com)

If you have any other questions, please let us know.  Thank you!

Hey thanks for your reply.

If one of the books needs to be bumped to another tier will this delay the order?

Hello, if a book is bumped up to a higher tier by the graders, this does not affect the turnaround time.  It will still be processed at the turnaround time for the original tier it was submitted under.  The book that is bumped remains with the rest of the books on that submission and it not moved off onto a separate invoice so everything on that submission will still be completed at the same time.

Thank you!
