DC jumping the Shark in 1977. Did any of you see this live? 0

I found this Ad on the back of a DC comic from 1977.

Did any of you go to Seaworld to see this???

So, Fonzie famously "Jumped the Shark" on "Happy Days" in 1977.  Did DC see that and think "WE should do that!!!".  Or did Happy Days see this Superhero Water Ski show and come up with the idea for Fonzie from it?

I saw that show as a kid.  I was really young, so I don't remember much of it.  I know I lost my mess when the Joker appeared.

Sadly, no.

The closest I got to that in the north of England at the time was going carp fishing in the local reservoir.

I never saw the Seaworld show, but I saw plenty of the Batman Stunt show at Six Flags over GA.  I even knew the guy playing Batman for a while.  Every time I would meet up with him I'd make him do his heroic "Batman walk".

I was a former Aquaducks Water Ski Show (Wisconsin) members and some members joined Sea World of Ohio for few seasonal years.  Other former members joined Marine World/Africa USA in Vallejo California that I eventually joined them for two years.

I visited them and it was a fun time but it's saddened that Sea World of Ohio is no longer in existence.
