PGM Daredevil #14 Missing Staple
2 2

3 posts in this topic

This is a very low grade with a bunch of problems, so an overall guess is not necessary. Instead, my question is about a printing/binding issue I’m curious about. There is no bottom staple, and there are no holes to indicate there ever was one. I’m guessing that is rare, and if it were on a higher grade book, what impact on value would it make?

Here's a few old threads on the subject.

Seems as though there'd be little to no impact on an otherwise near-perfect book.

It’s not that rare ..I have a few like that however it’s not common either. Does that make sense? I hope. IMO if there was no staple ever there from the original manufacturing it’s a non-factor. On the super high end grades manufacturing issues can come into play tho.
