Raze
So I bought this on Ebay as a Poor .5, I dont think its a Poor .5 There is some staining on the front cover, missing pieces on the back cover, bug chew threw maybe half the bookend a few tears. https://www.ebay.com/itm/144537957801?nma=true&si=FIWv10PCWNBNMULpmg%2B1vG7SYJ8%3D&orig_cvip=true&nordt=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557 Am I crazy for thinking this is a Good 2.0? @grebal @Point Five @Larryw7 and anyone else!! Point Five
With the amount of paper missing, maybe 1.8 to be safe? Looks great tho! Larryw7 and Raze 1
grendelbo
1.5-1.8 neighborhood. I definitely don't see it as a 0.5. Thanks for sharing. Raze
grebal
I'd say in the 1.5 to 1.8 range - really not sure how hard to hit for all the missing corners. Also matters whether "art" is affected which I can't tell for sure from the images. It doesn't look like the chunks reach the art panels. If only the cover was missing the chunk from br corner, I'd be with you at 2.0 assuming the paper's in decent shape. And like the seller on e bay I would grade it low just to avoid argument from unhappy buyer, although when I consciously undergrade I'll overcharge for the assigned grade by at least a bit. I think 1.5-1.8 is right. The bug chew does not affect any story panels by the way.

Larryw7
1.8 I've seen worse books in 2.0 labels. Raze, Point Five and grendelbo 2

Readcomix
Presents well, complete…I’m in the 1.5-1.8 camp too for the amount of chew, but you’re hardly crazy to think it’s in the realm of possibility to come back 2.0 either. Raze
