MISTER MYSTERY #10 in 4.0. Amazingly detailed Bernard Baily monster/graveyard cover. Super glossy and vibrant copy. Tiny pieces of tape under staples, visible only on the back cover... not entirely sure how to factor that in, but the staples seem original and everything feels tight & attached. White/OW pages.

OUT OF THE SHADOWS #9 in 4.5. Great black skeleton cover with rich colors, and the gloss looks wet on this book. Insane "The Corpse That Came to Dinner" lead story, with classic art by Reed Crandall that rivals anything he did for EC. Fun book, priced to move.

AMAZING ADVENTURES #2 in 5.0/5.5. Classic 'Earth female in jail' painted cover. The deep rich inks and gloss on this book are off-the-charts, nicer than the harsh technical grade... it really looks freshly printed. Only small corner chips, and tiny splits on the spine corners, bring the grade down. White/OW pages.

FIGHT AGAINST CRIME #17 in 1.5. Extreme knife-in-neck cover, yeesh! One of the best FACs, with a full-story swipe of Reed Crandall's "Carrion Death" from EC. Looks 3.0-4.0 range in the bag, but a number of internal issues: cover wrap and first wrap detached; some archival tape inside the spine sealing splits; centerfold detached and sticks out a bit (could be married I guess, but PQ is a perfect match...?); corner piece missing from one interior page. Complete, supple, readable. White/OW pages.

JOURNEY INTO FEAR #5 in 4.5. Awesome redheaded-woman-in-graveyard cover. (A whopping *eight* skulls here!... if you're a skull cover collector, plenty of bang for your buck.) Nice solid book with excellent colors and gloss. Front presents more like a midgrade; cover attached at both staples; fairly minor spine and back cover flaws. OW pages.

RANGERS COMICS #17 in 2.0/2.5. Striking GGA bondage/WWII bayonet cover. This is one of those Rangers that usually has weak/yellowed oranges, but the oranges are strong here (stronger even than the Promise Collection's 8.5 copy!), giving the eye appeal some real snap...presents like a book in the VG range. Book has some extra staples, and the last few pages have a margin tear. White/OW pages.

RANGERS COMICS #25 in 4.0. Classic woman-tied-to-wheel GGA cover. Another cover where the cover colors are often washed out, but they're pretty rich here. Book looks 5.0 or so (and still might squeak out a 4.5), but there's a faint moisture stain along the bottom edge of the full book, noticeable on the splash page and last page but pretty soft in between (see pics). Real tough book with this eye appeal. White/OW pages.
