Bayowolf Posted May 24, 2022 Share Posted May 24, 2022 Pretty severe spine wear and some dirt and shadow on back. But I'd like to call your attention to the artistic detail on this cover. I first noticed this on the close up of the bottom right corner. The inking on the man's face, the splashes, shades of blue in the water and the sunset color. So I did a crop of the cover taking the comic title at top and the faces of the Howling Commandos on side out. The resulting pic -with "DUM DUM DOES IT THE HARD WAY!" in the top left corner - shows all the detail and the overall beauty of this cover! Kudos to Ayers on this!
