How about a label where the numeric grade decreases as you shake the slab. The books already does this. Why not make the label match.

 

I used that motif in a comic story I wrote last year. The slab has a digital readout called a "Grade-O-Meter".

Platinum and Silver ages may cause some difficulty.

 

GA and BA may also offer similar conundrum.

Problem is, the ages get redefined over time.
