Scam Alert to Fellow Collectors 0

Hi collectors,

I may be in the wrong place but I'm coming here first.  I received an inbox message from Tonnyy, who told me that person by the name of Preston Steven had a book I was looking for, House of Secrets 81.  So of course I emailed this person.  They responded with let's just say gibberish (no formality) and asked what I was willing to pay?  My response, send me a photo of the book and I'll make you an offer.  The photo finally came through, it was picture of HOS 81 9.4 Pacific Coast pedigree.  Once again his response was "tell me your budget and I'll get it shipped to you today."  The photo appeared lifted so I replied kindly and asked for a photo of him holding the book.  No reply.  I thought this was important enough to share.

Report the original post.  This is an on-going scam effort on the boards.

Tonnyy tried the same nonsense with me the other day regarding an ST 127 that I’m looking for.

@gunsmokin I deleted the conversation without even thinking I could be getting scammed.  I'm hoping an Administrator will see this and will flag Tonnyy.
