Ok I am not asking this question to get a sale or anything. What is up with the boards has SDCC broke the boards or something.  Noticed a lot of sales threads on here where the seller is closing them because there is no interest which is just odd seeing that two week ago the boards were jumping.

I wouldn’t say there is a slow down. There are probably multiple reasons that maybe not as many sales just this week alone, such as SDCC or summer time/back to school prep. But overall I don’t think it’s that much different.
 

IMHO most of the time a significant change in sales activity is due to the books being offered. For example Oceanmills and Kryptomayor both had large threads with affordable books and as expected, sold well. Reasonable prices, great sellers, good number of titles - all that leads to sales. Same with GACollectible’s big modern thread with low prices and lots of books, it had good sell through. Single books or handfuls of books, which sometimes are priced reasonably, sometimes not, just don’t have the large draw of buyers. And of course if it is a few single key books, the boards have always been notorious for a place where people will wait and only buy when the selling price is below the market enough to make money for the buyer.

I guess that philosophy kinda makes sense but when a seller has it listed as Best Reasonable Offer Accepted usually there are offers no matter how ridiculous or low ball they may be. And it is harder to put a more device selection of CGC books online when certain books you are trying to sale so you can renew your membership and submit a larger quality of books to be graded.

It most have been removed when i stated all best reasonable offers would be considered I had it originally listed at $1000.00, then dropped it to $875.00 via Venmo, or another payment method beside Paypal because they hold the funds which delay me sending out products.

Another Price Drop Before Bed.

No one willing to help a brother out. Trying to raise funds to help cover expenses to and from appointments with my liver transplant team at MUSC in Charleston, SC over the next month, hotel cost, gas.  To get money up so i can renew membership and have more books submitted and have a larger supply of CGC books to list and to get a reliable phone instead of this trash phone Verizon Wireless sold me, then let me out of contract on so i could upgrade but cant even do that because the all require deposits, and I also have to pay to get my fiancee and mines marriage license.

Not ideal, and not as quick, but you probably know that you could approach ComicLink about an advance. They will generally do 50% up front, and the remainder, less fees, upon sale.

NO I DIDNT DAVIDTHEDAVID its something to consider didnt know about comiclink. know ebay would hold that large amount for 30 days bc they consider anything over 400 high end merchanise, which they consider risky
