This is an auction for 17 GA comics and 4 SA comics. Auction will start immediately and will finish on Sunday, 07/31/2022, at 8:00 PM CDT. Opening bid is $250 and BIN is $650 $1000. Buyer to pay $10 for shipping. Payment to be made via PayPal.

There will be NO returns on this auction. If I have blatantly misrepresented the condition of any the comics listed, I will negotiate a fair amount that I will refund to you for my error.

Adventure Comics #64 – July, 1941
Cover detached, tape on spine, two innermost wraps missing - affects Hourman story, 13-page Starman story by Jack Burnley, 4-page Federal Men story, 6-page Steve Conrad Adventurer story, 8-page Hourman story by Bernard Bailey (missing pages 5, 6, 7), 6-page Paul Kirk, Manhunter story, 6-page Cotton Carver story, 8-page Sandman story by Creig Flessel. This is a reader copy, at best.

     

Animal Comics #10 – August/September, 1944
Complete, VG/VG+, cover and 10-page story by Walt Kelly.

     

Batman #46 – May, 1948
Complete, stain on back, Joker story by Dick Sprang, would be VG, if not for corner tears on the front cover.

Sorry, everyone. Work and exercise delayed me posting this until just now.

First, like it or not, I am raising the BIN price to $1,000. I paid $700+ for the four books that I am adding, so I don't think raising the BIN by $350 is out of line.

Here's the first book: Dead-Eye Western #v2 #4, published in June, 1951. This is from the Edgar Church (Mile High) pedigree. How often do you get a chance to own a book from the most famous pedigree of all?

     

Here are the grader notes for this book:
Light crease right bottom of front cover breaks color
Light, multiple crease left top of front cover breaks color
Moderate spine stress lines breaks color
Moderate wear left top of front cover breaks color

Here's the second book: Funny Frolics #3, published in Spring 1946. How often are you able to buy a Timely book from the 1940s in CGC 8.0 grade?

     

There are no grader notes for this book - I already checked.
