Wondering if this is worth sending into cgc. Had it for years.

Minor spine stress with a few spine ticks, some of which break color, color breaking small crease at lower left corner.

Overall this is a nice book, the color breaking spine ticks keep the grade down, IMO...

An excellent copy with outstanding eye appeal. A limited accumulation of minor bindery/printing defects is allowed. Cover is relatively flat with minimal surface wear beginning to show, possibly including some minute wear at corners. Inks are generally bright with moderate to high reflectivity. An unnoticeable 1/4" crease is acceptable if color is not broken. Stamped or inked arrival dates may be present. Minor foxing. Spine is almost completely flat with a possible minor color break. Staples may show some discoloration. Very slight staple tears and a few almost insignificant stress lines may be present. Paper is cream to tan and supple. Centerfold is mostly secure. Minor interior tears at the margin may be present.

According to eBay Sold Auctions, FMV for this book in Raw VF 8.0 - NM- 9.2 is in the $15.00 - $20.00 range, CGC graded books in the VF 8.0 - NM 9.4 are in the $30.00 - $60.00 range, grading is a choice you have to make, probably cost more than the book is valued at. IMO, a Mylite and Acid Free Board stored properly would be fine, if you want to display the book, they sell UV Protected Frames (CGC cases are not UV protected).

8.5±0.5. If a C&P can flatten out some of those non-color breaking spine ticks, a shot at the higher end. The chip in the corner is an issue unless it was deemed a manufacturing defect

I don’t think it’s worth the cost to get it graded, unless you want it in your PC…IMO.
