ON NEWSSTANDS JULY 1958

Jack Kirby had trailblazed the idea of complete full length stories at DC with Challengers of the Unknown in Showcase #6, and DC had tried the concept as early as 4 months later in Superman #113. Now a year and a half later even Archie Comics was jumping on the idea in Life With Archie #1.

It would be one of the first to do it on a regular basis (though #2 didn't), and slowly.... very slowly we'd start to see it a little more often...

Superman #124 this month would also feature a letters page, something DC hadn't be doing...
