ON NEWSSTANDS SEPTEMBER 1958

Even though Jack had taken over most of the writing on Challengers of the Unknown, he was still somewhat stifled by the DC 'way' of doing things. But at Harvey Comics, Kirby could -script things the way he wanted, which we see here with Race for the Moon #3. This reads like early Silver Age Marvel Comic! Kirby's dialogue reads just like it! Characters argue and bicker and it's a lot of wise guy bantering. 

I'm not a big fan of Al Williamson inking Kirby, but I still enjoy this comic, and wished it would've continued!
