Imagine how career-limiting it would be to vow to only appear as characters who are exactly like you.  At some point, it's not even "acting" anymore.  You're just appearing as yourself in everything like Ryan Reynolds.

Be fair Ryan Reynolds plays 2 characters, family friendly and dirty.  They are somewhat different other than the language, so we have Free Guy and Deadpool.
