He was at the London LSCC convention in 2016, taking commissions for painted art just like those. A now sadly-neglected opportunity.

I met Tom at HeroesCon a few years ago. The line wasn't long, and he chatted with a couple of us for 15-20 minutes. The most interesting thing he said was that he also colored a great bit of the books he worked on. He got lambasted by Marvel for coloring the Vision wrong in Avengers #93. He signed a copy of Avengers #81 for me. I meant to get him to sign what's left of my original Avengers #93 (which is signed by Roy and Neal) cover, but he never returned after that. He was an extremely nice man! RIP!
