For book that was issued in 1988 its surprisingly difficult IMHO to find raw 9.8 candidates.  Yeah the pop's are moving up bit I'd figure there would be more by now.

Difficult for me to get a solid read on the spine but I think a 9.4 candidate and I can't rule out a potential 9.6. However it may be a book that is heavily scrutinized by CGC so I will go with a 9.4. One caveat; if that is light crease to the right of the yellow "S" in the logo then lower my estimate to 9.0/9.2

I think that’s production, not a crease.  Shows up much more prominently in the scan than in hand

Following in suite with any TMNT book I send for grading the FMV drops as soon as I ship my childhood copy to CGC. Its happened with my Turtles 5,6 Donatello 1 and other Turtles books.

Now that my grade just popped expect a massive free-fall for 1988 mini TMNT Adventures 1 ;sigh

Probably mirrors the hobby as whole but still....

No defects are popping out at me so I'll say 9.4, maybe better. 

I used to have a copy of this. Wish I knew what happened to it.
