PGM Marvel Presents 1 (1975, Bloodstone)

After chatting with the presser/authorized CGC store owner about Elsa Bloodstone (vis-à-vis upcoming Disney shows and movies), I went searching for this one. For some reason, I did not have this one sorted with comics that were significant enough to be grading candidates. That was probably not terribly smart as it's been at least a constantly lukewarm book for a while now. For 47ish year old book with a white cover, I'm pretty pleased. There are a couple of very tiny tics that break color on the spine by the yellow circle. There are a couple of light impressions on the spine that look to my untrained eye like they will press out (these catch the light enough to make them look color breaking, but I would say they don't upon close examination in-hand). That's about all I notice. I am showing an inside of the cover as I've been dinged recently on internal cover discoloration, so I'm checking it diligently now.

Slightly blunted corners, slight edge wear, minor spine stress with a couple of small/color breaking spine ticks, slight spine roll, outer edge slightly miscut (as seen by the "TM".), minor color rub on front cover.

IMO...

9.0 VERY FINE/NEAR MINT (VF/NM):  Back to Top
Nearly perfect with outstanding eye appeal. A limited number of bindery/printing defects are allowed. Cover is almost flat with almost imperceptible wear. Inks are bright with slightly diminished reflectivity. An 1/8" bend is allowed if color is not broken. Corners are cut square and sharp with ever-so-slight blunting permitted but no creases. Several lightly penciled, stamped or inked arrival dates are acceptable. Very minor foxing. Spine is tight and flat. Staples may show some discoloration. Only the slightest staple tears are allowed. A very minor accumulation of stress lines may be present if they are nearly imperceptible. Paper is off-white to cream and supple. Very minor interior tears may be present.
