CGC White Label 1 1

Why would some pedigree have white label instead of traditional pedigree dark golden label? I've noticed several comics such as all Murphy Anderson pedigree, some of pacific coast pedigree are using it.

Anyone knows why?

Those were the first pedigree labels. Black and white. But they looked too empty and unspecial so they developed the golden ones which remain the current design

No wonder. This white labels somehow looks beautiful with some covers in white background.

Agreed. These white labels do look interesting, but after a few moments, because the labels are paper, they do look cheap. Only because paper is white

in areas of packaging, the "Black label" concept means highest quality. SO the thinking was there... but There's usually high quality thick and/or glossy paper used, whereas on those CGC labels, the paper's white was just the cheaper paper itself unadorned by ANY graphics or imagery, or specialness at all.  So the Gold foil look now DOES pop from the other label colors.
