Hello! CGC does not authenticate signatures that were not witnessed by a CGC employee or facilitator at this time. Any book received with an unwitnessed signature would receive the Green Qualified label.

Appreciate this quick info as I was wondering the same about an upcoming submission with an old Todd McFarlane auto I got on Spider-Man 1 as a kid.  Glad it will still be graded to it's full potential just with a note about the auto.

Well, that depends on your definition of "full potential". The sugnature will NOT be authenticated and if the sig is on the cover you will get a Qualified label aka the Green Label of Death

Yeah that is what I was expecting.  Basically happy if its a 9.6, it'll still get that grade and the sig won't drive it down since it's not authenticated by CGC.  It's for the personal collection anyway so I'm cool with the green label.
