Apparently Topps reissued these as a non- sticker card set with 11 extra cards. The sticker version (with a peel here arrow on the cards) appears to be scarcer.

32 page of comics from LA weekly 1989

From July 21 to Nov 10 LA weekly had two full pages of comics every issue. The first page was Ben Kathchor and Mark Beyer, the second Gary Panter, Michael Dougan and Ken Brown. At some point Katchor and Brown were replaced by rotating artists including Chris Ware. There are no pages for the week of Sept. 22, but I think that week skipped the comics for some reason, as the Sept 29 Cola Madness strip by Panter appears to pick up from two weeks earlier without missing anything. 

Als included a Kim Deitch page form 2002. The reverse includes their regular comics page with strips by Kaz, Tony Millionaire and others. 

Pages are cream -ow.

South Central produced tabloid underground with violence and gross out humor. 

Large 11 x 17 

A couple of pages have 5' tears otherwise decent shape. As I recall much of the print run had tears due to the large size. 

I may have some of the later comic sized issues somewhere if anyone is interested in this.
