Archie's Pals 'N' Gals 11

Another out of the Bakerstown warehouse, from maybe twenty years ago. This one has the usual blue distributor
overspray lower and LH edge, bit of wear along upper RH edge, and it's a bit wavy. Nearly everything except the folds
would press right out, I'm thinking.

Glossy, square, white pages

Asking $40

Astonishing Tales 26
Second appearance Deathlok

This one is a whoooole bunch nicer than the last issue.
I see two tiny color breaks in the black by Deathlok's shoulder, and that's about it. Everything else would press out
Flat and clean, tight spine and CF, glossy, white pages

Asking $75

Pep Comics 63

Archie and the Gang have nearly taken over the book, but there's still a nine page Shield and Dusty  in this issue

Solid midgrade, except there's a coupon torn out of the last page of the Katy Keene story. Alas.
General wear, touch of spine roll, bit of light soiling, Tight with white pages. And a missing coupon, sigh...

Asking $50

Mr. A, 1973, all by Steve Ditko.

Published by Comic Art Publishers, magazine sized.  32 pages plus three plate color cover.
And this copy is a gem. Flat, clean, tight, bone-white pages, as it was printed on much better paper rather than newsprint.
If you want to see some vintage Ditko that doesn't show up very often, this is the book for you

Asking $50, FIRM

Last book of the evening

Speed Comics 35
Schomberg bondage cover!  Gotta love a Schommy  war cover, right?
CGC 1.8, bittle pages

Displays very nicely indeed for the technical grade, but this one might not be the issue to crack out and read.
I'll blow up the notes in the pics, coming from my phone in a moment

Nothing remotely close on GPA, I'm shooting in the dark.

Asking $750, might be open to trade offers

That's it for the evening

IF I'm up early I'll toss up a couple Early Birds, otherwise look for something early afternoon, and another nice stack tomorrow evening.

Journey Into Mystery #2
Yeah, I went back in a dug out a couple more PCH books, :D

This one displays pretty well, but has light water stains LH FC, if you look closely you can see one running parallel to
the rub lower LH FC. Both staples a bit rusty, with a whiff of magration to the cover. Plenty of wear along the spine
BC with some small tears, tear with chip upper RH BC. I had this one professionally pressed to get rid of an ugly
spine roll.  Tight, glossy, offwhite - white pages. One corner off interior page,  gets into one panel, less than 1/4"

With all that being said, how often do you run across a copy, and one that displays well to boot?

Asking $600, pretty firm on this one.
