Perhaps hyperinflation last summer on cgc books. More popping up on census now? Just sold a Hulk Spcl 1 cgc 8.5 for $172 which I thought was a strong result. Hulk SMASH DD & X2.

i know guys who paid like $700+ for a 9.4 white. I think it is a $500 book. I love this book but can't see paying more than that.

Using my own "internal valuator" I'd say this comic will likely come in at around $300-$350 for a standard CGC 9.4, though this one had excellent centering (especially compared to some sad-sack CGC 9.4 copies I've seen) and White Pages, which probably accounted for the higher-than market price.

 

You list an off-center, bent-spine CGC 9.4 OW copy of this book, and then pray for it to hit $300.
