laptop or computer it's "easier", right click copy image or copy image address and paste with a right click.

Phone, I've had to sometimes hold it with my finger and choose download image, then when posting choose add files and is it should come up as the most recent.

Phones are trickier for copy and paste sometimes, even then cgc only accepts certain files

Save the gif to your iPad.  Then you can click ‘add files’ & post it from there.
