Snowdon
Found a personal grail today: I think the staining can be removed. Thank god, it's a black cover. Edited June 17, 2023 by Snowdon
scburdet
I'll be interested to see if stain removal is successful. That's a lot of staining, but you're right that the black cover does a decent job of hiding it. Looks like some staining of the inside pages, which I don't think is as cleanable. I'm going to say 3.5/4.0 with the staining & cross my fingers for you on getting the stains removed. In the absence of staining, I could see 5.5/6.0 with the color breaking defects, where the black definitely doesn't help.
LowGradeBronze
The staining takes it all the way down to a 2.5 or 3.0 tops. Congrats on snagging this book, a true grail.
Mars76
3.0 because of the staining, other than that the book looks great. Congrats, that's big addition to any collection.
grendelbo
2.0/2.5 Maybe it could be C&P for 4.0/4.5? Congratulations all the same. It'll display very nicely. Be sure to post your membership to the club. Thanks for sharing. Snowdon
