Average book the I'm comfortable with the grade advertised but I'm curious as to how a couple of defects impact the book.

Solid lower grade with great gloss and color but enough creasing and spine issues to keep it down.

First flaw is a small tape pull up in the CCA stamp.

Second flaw is the tanning on the inside covers. Along the top it is nearly a white with a purplish hue (likely from the reds on the cover). I've never seen a book with this pronounced tanning. Strangely the PQ is still pretty good. Likely CR-OW.

Another tape pull by the issue #? The penalty for tape pull seems to depend on the magnitude and impact on aesthetics. I've got one with a couple, but they're on the back (7.0). This is on the cover, but maybe isn't as aesthetically ugly b/c of it's location. In the absence of anything else, I could see a 7.0/7.5 just for the cover defects. The tanning is not good though. I'd offer a 5.0±0.5

That's a chip rather than a pull.
