jdubnj
How important is the color cracking at the spine, where the book was folded at the time the book came off the printing press? At first glance the spine is stress free, but when I take a 3x photo you see color flakes all along the spine. What would the maximum grade be on this book? Regular spine cracking/flaking/feathering on books like this will not prevent you from getting a 9.8 grade. Other defects, like the spine stress above the staple in the second close-up photo might. jdubnj
joeypost
In the hands of the right person, the flaking can be greatly reduced.
