mel3k
Thoughts on grade? Also, I recently had CCS reject pressing a book because it was too fragile. Do you think that could happen here? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you! 1950's war comics
LowGradeBronze
Around a 3.0 but flattening under some heavy books would help. Not sure about pressing. Could be risky. Edited January 26, 2023 by LowGradeBronze mel3k
scburdet
Not sure I'd send CCS any books that were fragile or potentially fragile. Look for a CGC authorized dealer and see if they do pressing in-house. That's how I found someone reliable that I could work with. Given the color breaking creasing & such, I don't know that the grade will improve much, but flattening it out would have it present better. 4.0/4.5 unless some of that tearing around the staples is worse than it looks in these photos. mel3k
1950's war comics
worth a press of course and should come back 4.0 minimum mel3k and FoggyNelson 1
silverseeker
As it is, 3.0/3.5 (I'm having a hard time deciding between the two but am leaning toward the lower grade because of the severity of that bend)...if the book can be pressed I can see it bumping up to 4.0. I would look into getting it pressed just to get rid of that heavy bend. mel3k
