PGM Wolverine Limited Series #3

So this is a candidate to be submitted for the Claremont signing and one that is a borderline submission for me because If it doesn't get a really high grade I can purchase one with a ss slab for probably less.

I'm obviously hoping for 9.8 contender, but I'm thinking it is a 9.4 with a chance of getting 9.6? Needs a little clean in the back and the front has 3 hard to see spine ticks and 1 and maybe 2 of them appears to be color breaking (so probably out of the 9.8  running).

The other issue with this black cover what color pen to have Claremont sign because I'm going to have ccs press after and those yellow, pink, inks can get a little runny after a press. I have a X-Men 266 signed in pink paint by Claremont and it was pressed after signing and it has the (look signatures specifically colored paint pens) look after they've been pressed. I'm thinking maybe just get black sharpie signed over the Wolverine letters?

In the 9s is where I'm at. In my CC signature books, he always signs over the title in black. Unless you window out a separate location, I would make a large bet that is what he'd do. It's hard to find books he doesn't sign this way. I looked back at all my SS books signed in colors & I don't see any issues with the recent in-house signings. Maybe they worked out that certain types/brands of marker shouldn't be used.

Yep, most of mine are also signed on the Title his favorite place to sign, but I have seen many of these Wolverine #3's where he has signed on the body of this cover. I've heard pressing on paint pens can be brutal and all mine look good except one that I have signed in pink by Claremont it got a little wonky after the press.
