Is this considered a printing defect?

Hi all.  I wanted to get your expertise about something I came across that I don't recall seeing before.  If you look right above the staple, you can see multiple really tiny indentations.  I am guessing that is a printing defect vs actual damage to the book (but I could be wrong).  What do you all think?  Is this something CGC would knock down in grade for?  I was not sure where else to post this but I was hoping you all might have better knowledge / insight as to how CGC might grade something like this.  Thanks everyone!

Pretty sure it's a manufacturing defect. Not sure how hard cgc would ding you, probably depends on the grader.

It looks like a possible printing defect. In order for us to give you a grade we would need pictures of the front and back cover.

Thanks.  I was actually looking more for insight from you all as to if this is something CGC would grade down for.

Thanks!  I was guessing it was a printing / manufacturing defect too.  But even then, I figured CGC would probably still knock the grade down for it.
