Thank you SO much for posting all of those!!! @fett That's exactly what I had in mind when I started the thread ... getting inside the books as well, to see what most miss with books in the slabs! VERY awesome indeed!!!

One of my very favorite Spidey covers from the very first time I laid my eyes on a copy!!! There's just something about the way Steve draws Electro ... 

 I was SO happy to be able to add the La Prensa Publication of this issue to my collection!

It's interesting in these early books to see when an artist draws a character for the first time. I'm sure this is the first time Steve drew Doctor Doom in a story and it's fun to compare how different artists drew characters!

Looking at this thread with all the inside pages makes me love Ditko's work even more

amazingly these two books are Ditko's first work for Charlton, not the horror and sci-fi that became his bread and butter

Posting this is another thread, the cover is Kirby, but looking at the splash page I knew it was Steve, then I saw the signature. Spanish Steve!

The main reason I don’t slab any of my books. I couldn’t not ever want to open a silver age book and not look at the work of these geniuses. Reprints just don’t do it for me.

I completely understand that viewpoint and I have friends that feel the same way. I do as well but have both slabbed and raw books, in many cases, a copy of each.
