marvelmaniac
I cannot answer any questions on a clean and press since I do not use this service so I will grade the book by what I see. Question, is that a stacking crease running along the top? All I see with this book is... slight edge/corner wear with a dented edge/corner at the top left, what appears to be about a 3" crease from the price box across the "AM" in Amazing, slightly discolored staples, a stacking curl at the top left edge of the rear cover, minor foxing/dust shadow on rear cover. The way the book sits right now, IMO...VF 8.0 arDeaton
scburdet
Corner crease the signs of paper oxidation on the rear cover are the main issue, neither fixed by c/p. 8.5±0.5 arDeaton

SolidShredder
I can't tell from the photos if that bend on the back along the dust shadow has broken any fibers and become a light crease. If it has, this would drop to a 7 for me. I don't see how that could be a stacking bend as those are usually by the spine of the book since stacking them wrong "pulls" the spine upward. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong. Could it be curling from moisture? It also looks like there might be creasing or stress marks by the other dust shadow on the top right as well. This would make sense as the parts exposed to the air to oxidize or form dust shadows like that are also the parts that tend to get bumped and bashed. On the front, It looks like that might just be a printer crease across the top of the logo which shouldn't affect grade too much. Besides that I see a corner crease, minor edge wear, some spine ticks, and one or two small creases on the bottom left of the back cover and of course the dust shadows. Those things alone would put this at about 8 for me and lower depending on the verdict on those those dust shadows. The crease doesnt go all the way across and looking at the otherside(inside cover) youcant even see it.

Looking good. Looks like the curling might be from moisture/humidity and I don't see any creasing along the shadows. I'll update my assessment to a strong 8.0/ possible weak 8.5. arDeaton
