Captain America #64, CGC 3.0 C/OW, Stan Lee story... 1947. Human Torch story. Timely publications!
There are only 38 universal copies on the census ,  not very many for this popular title. 

If you look for books with nice front covers, on this comic the back has most of the visible defects.

I had a hard time pricing this because of the number in the census and the sky high asking prices on eBay...at least I THINK they are sky high, I'm always surprised;)

Comic Cavalcade #4, CGC 3.5 ow , 1943, 38 total copies on the census, 32 are Blue Label.

The back cover brings down the grade on this book, the front is nice.

Comic Cavalcade #6, 1944, C/OW there are only  22 on the census.  I bought this on the boards years ago  from a seller who sold me a few book that had undisclosed resto, so I am guessing that this one does too. If you look inside the front cover (see the picture) I think there was glue added near the spine. It might be original since this is a squarebound, but I don't want to take a chance, so I'm going to grade it as an apparent 3.5. There was tape removed from the bottom of the spine and there is a 1" split. Book is complete and the cover looks nice. Last sale in anything close to this grade was 2 years ago, for a restored 5.0

Comic Cavalcade #7, 1944, 3.5 R pages are really nice, OW/W or better.

This is another scarce book with 27 total on the census. It was also from the same seller. There are chews on the bottom of the spine, I think the cover was detached and was reglued badly, it's about 1/8 of an inch off. The right edge and Possibly the bottom edge were trimmed.

This is the first book that used the "A Superman- DC 15-Cent Logo"

It's also the last Black Pirate.

Thanks, Andy...I had most of the run at one time, I am keeping part of it, they were very hard to find...not many around and some great artists and writers. I just keep find it harder and harder to part with any of my GA books, even though I keep saying I'm going to make my collection a little smaller...takes me a long time to pick some out, lol.

Comic Cavalcade #17, CGC 1.5 OW, 1946. The notes say cover detached and all interior pages detached. I did not have this book slabbed, so I never saw the raw book, but it looks pretty good for a 1.5;) and with 13 on the census in blue, it's scarce. There are 16, total.
