wjered
What do you guys think this will grade as is? I would also appreciate an opinion on page color. Thank you!
marvelmaniac
At the bottom of the book and outer edge of the book as shown in the top two pictures, are they shadows or the actual pages of the book? Fold/crease at top left corner/price box, corner/edge wear with color breaking creases, small tears at top edge of front cover, minor spine stress with a few color breaking spine ticks, small color breaking scratch/crease below the box with the Black Panther, slightly discolored staples, fold at top left corner of rear cover, wrinkled lower edge of rear cover, long, horizonal color breaking crease starting at outer edge on rear cover. Assuming they are only shadows and not fanned pages...FN- 5.5 As far as page color... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mb3RfnWoUIw
wjered
Thank you for the response. That is just a shadow. I have seen that color card before but didn't know how it corilated to CGC's color designations. By looking at the card the pages look "Tan". Would that be considered "Cream" by CGC? Would this book be OW/Cream or just straight Cream? Or is CGC a little easier on the page color and would they call this Off White?
scburdet
I'd call this Cream to Off-White b/c of the apparent darker border, but I am not a page color expert by any stretch https://www.cgccomics.com/grading/grading-scale/?scale=page-quality A press might get this to 6.0/6.
