Got a Werewolf by Night 32 that I’m looking to buy, but found this one defect that I can’t figure out.

Does anyone have any insight?  It looks like some color lift or printer line?  Lord, I hope it’s not wear 😭.

Top is bindery related; a lot of 9.6’s and 9.4’s have that same defect I found.

This one is a 9.4 by CGC; graded in December 2020.

I was originally alarmed by it as well, but saw it on quite a few other high grade copies (also: the grader notes make no mention of it, but do call out some other things on the book).

Here ya go folks!  Find the pictures below!  As far as the price goes: they are asking too much at listed price but they are really eager to sell it (they bought it from comic link when the price was much higher).

Grader notes are below, but it’s weird there is no mention of the scratch/dirt line nor the binding chunk missing.

spine stress lines
very small crease left top of back cover
very small crunch left top of back cover
very small, very light bend left center of back cover
