This issue also features the 1st appearance of the Metahumes. The original comic book subscription card is still bound in. VF, or better; off-white to white pages. The back shows either an ink scuff or a very light fingerprint near the top edge. It is difficult to see except with the right lighting. I've dropped the grade considerably because of the 'wrinkling' and indentations/folds in the comic. You can see what I'm referring to on the back. It goes through the entire book, and there may be a bit of ink-breakage in spots on some of those creases. I have four copies of this variant...none of them were ever read. VF+, or better. The spine shows very light wear. The back cover shows light ink rubs in spots along the spine, especially near the bottom staple. Both comics arrived in this condition, with the pictured comic being the worst. Silk #1 (2021 series). This variant is an Eastside Comics exclusive, Jeehyung Lee cover. It is limited to 3000 copies. VF+, or better. The front cover shows a small scuff in the bottom left quadrant that mostly affects the gloss. I worry about the spine, and whether or not CGC will call that a ‘frayed spine’. The entire series was done in black and white. VF, no better. FN/VF, no better; off-white to white pages. The back cover shows a horizontal ‘indentation’ near the upper spine corner, possibly due to a knife cut.
