catrick339
That's it, Gang! I'm done for the evening. But the rest of the thread is starting to take shape. Tomorrow is cartoons and cartoon-related, along with sleazy women. Wednesday is mixed grille, nice books from all genres. Thursday is back to science fiction. Friday is all Fifties and Sixties smut. That's right, filthy books aplenty! And yes, anything you buy Friday must be accompanied with an age statement, or I won't ship it to you, ya pervs! See you tomorrow. mstrange
On 6/27/2023 at 6:40 PM, catrick339 said: Blackmark, Bantam S5871, first print One of the earliest graphic novels, eventually published in both magazine form and if memory serves, TPB format to boot, this features some of Gil Kane's best work IMO, certainly the best outside of the superhero format. At least one, and sometimes several illustrations each page, plus text and word balloons, and it tells a mighty story. Flat and square with some minor soiling, but good gloss, interior is clean except for a small store stamp on page 1. From my personal collection. Asking $20, I don't mind shelving this one right back up. Take

First up, a Bitter Disappointment. House of Fury, Avon 298 This is the book that was reprinted as Reform School Girl, with the classic photo used both on the paperback and the comic. Sigh... FREE. no strings attached, just CLAIM it! Edited June 28, 2023 by catrick339
