HIya, folks

Got a few nice pieces flying under the radar at this weekend's HA Signature auction.  Both items are ending June 25th.

First up is the near complete 15 pages color guide for Detective Comics #474.  Pages are very difficult to come by, and also very expensive whenever the opportunity to own one arises.  So, here you have the near complete issue's color guides, from the estate of Marshall Rogers, and there are numerous noteworthy things to point out about this lot:

• Great opening splash featuring Batman and Robin in the Batcave, surrounded by giant props from the bat-stories of yesteryear
• Cameo of the Penguin in prison
• Boss Rupert Thorne receives a visit from the deceased (?) Hugo Strange
• Silver St. Cloud discovers that Bruce Wayne is Batman
• 1st appearance of the new Deadshot, later joins the Suicide Squad in their own comic and in the DCU movies
• Cameos of the Joker
• Deadshot and Batman have an epic battle atop a giant typewriter prop
• One of the battle pages includes a panel that is very, very simitar to the cover image

I've also got a nice Jim Starlin and Al Milgrom Infinity Abyss cover, published in 2002, over 20 years ago.  This will probably be the most affordable Starlin Marvel cover you will ever have the opportunity to purchase, but I'll leave that to the bidders to decide.
