Definitely one of the best SSOC covers and there are many. Beautiful copy.

Yes, you do.  That cover was reused (artwork flipped) for a cover of Detective World a few years later.  One of the only detective/crime covers I know of that was reused (unlike sleaze digests and men's magazines where there are dozens and dozens of reused covers).

Fantastic Vol. 1 No. 1, 1952, VG/F+.  One of my favorite sci-fi digests, this is an unusually nice copy with great color and gloss.  This book is notorious for having pieces missing from the spine but this copy has only the slightest loss at the top of the book.  Classic Barye Cover.  $30  (I can't believe it didn't sell before.  If it doesn't sell at this price, I have to keep it.)
