How does a Signature Session actually work?

Hi - just curious - how does a Signature Session actually work?

Does the artist/celebrity just walk into a room full of books with some markers and 'Good luck!' or is it as granular as having someone hand each book to the signer..?

Do the books get handed to the signer as they were processed in the submission paperwork? or does CGC break the books into what colors people want the books signed so the signer doesn't have to keep switching markers..? Or are the books grouped by issue (ie, all of the submitted X-Men 11s, all of the X-Men 12s, etc)?

Or does it depend on the signer or how many submissions there are?

I really have no idea, but would love any details...

Thanks for any insights!

Update: I just realized: maybe it's a trade secret..? if so, n/m! : )
