Hey, buddy, welcome to the Boards.  There is a minimum post limit to create a "want list" type of post in the "Want to Buy" section.  You can't see it yet, but once you're reached 50 posts, you'll be good to go.  This is done because scammers were using their first post to respond to "asks" like yours with "hey, I know a guy who has this book" scams.  Cruise around the site a bit and make some posts and you'll get to 50 very shortly!
