Found this in our pile wondering if worthwhile grading. Has a significant of misaligned cover but that is not a handling defect so have no idea how that impacts grade.

what do you think grade is

maybe a 9.0 with the light handling wear & some mild color rub along the spine. Is a book worth around $100 worth the grading investment, run the numbers on cost vs. any expected increase in FMV

8.5-9.0.  I've got the same book in the same printing with the same issues.  I'm probably going to submit mine due to the fact that got it super cheap in the wild and I feel it will look nice on my wall once slabbed.  Mine is more like 7.5-8.0

Yeah 8.5ish. Keep in mind this is a third printing (I think?), which is worth significantly less than the first printing. I personally would not get it graded, but as morbius21 mentioned, it totally depends on what you want to do with it. If you're looking to sell, prob raw is the best route. PC? Slab it up!
