Can I send in a magazine for grading if it has a wraparound ad attached to it?

I have been collecting Sports Illustrated since the 1970s and have recently started getting them graded.

Some of my subscription issues still have this semi-cardboard wraparound advertising around them (see pic).

Can I still send these in to get graded? Or do I need to take the risk of removing the ad, which might damage my cover?
