Not sure I buy that a tiny reproduction of a forthcoming cover (in this case GS X-Men 1) merits the kind of prices people list copies of this fanzine for (that no ones seems willing to pay), but I saw this listed at a "worth the risk" price, so I grabbed it. Influenced greatly by the lack of an address label on the back & the whiteness of the cover. If not for a little bit of staple rust, you could convince me someone was making bootleg copies. There are also 3 small spots along the top edge of the back cover. These have texture, so I think it's some substance on the surface. Feels like something that could be taken off by someone who has some tricks.

Slightly blunted left side corners, very slight spine stress, discolored top staple, slight dust/sun shadow on top of rear cover by spine (or is it the light/picture?)

Only because of the staple...

9.2 NEAR MINT- (NM-):  Back to Top
Nearly perfect with only a minor additional defect or defects that keep it from Near Mint. A limited number of minor bindery/printing defects are allowed. Cover is flat with no surface wear. Inks are bright with only the slightest dimming of reflectivity. Corners are cut square and sharp with ever-so-slight blunting permitted. A 1/16-1/8" bend is permitted with no color break. Small, inconspicuous, lightly penciled, stamped or inked arrival dates are acceptable as long as they are in an unobtrusive location. Slight foxing. Spine is tight and flat. Staples may show some discoloration. Almost no stress lines. Paper is off-white to cream, supple and fresh. Slight interior tears are allowed.

shadow

Good eye. There is some slight darkening of the paper there that I think the lighting exacerbates in the photo. That said, IDK if it's shadow or something else. It's certainly not a very clear shadow like the Black Lightning Comic Reader 139 I posted a while back & had graded.
